Available in both green and black forms, this plant adds a unique texture and color to any collection. The unusual lantern-shaped flowers with dark speckles are a striking addition, enhancing its exotic appeal. Perfect for bright, indirect light and requiring minimal care, Ceropegia simoneae is an ideal choice for collectors looking for something truly different.

General Care for Ceropegia
Growth habit: Ceropegia simoneae is a climber that benefits from being trained upwards rather than allowed to hang. Providing a support structure like a trellis or stake will encourage faster growth and more prolific flowering. Its wiry stems are well-suited to climbing, making it a fantastic choice for adding vertical interest to a space.
Recommended soil: This species prefers a gritty, well-draining soil mix such as a cactus or succulent mix. The soil should mimic its natural habitat, allowing for proper aeration and preventing waterlogging.
Recommended light conditions: Ceropegia simoneae thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate some direct sunlight in the early morning or late afternoon. It should be protected from intense midday sun, which can cause leaf burn.
Watering regimen: As a drought-tolerant plant, Ceropegia simoneae requires minimal watering. Water thoroughly but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering should be avoided to prevent root rot.
